Blackberry Festival

This FREE, family-friendly festival takes over Bremerton’s picturesque waterfront over Labor Day weekend. From modest beginnings in 1990, the berry-fest has evolved into THE summer-ending extravaganza for the Puget Sound.

In 2012, the Bremerton Rotary Club took over the management of the Blackberry Festival, which is one of the club’s two annual fundraisers for the Bremerton Rotary Foundation. The Bremerton Rotary Foundation provides scholarships and camperships for local students, and donates thousands of dollars annually to local non-profits, projects, parks and events, as well as international projects.

WayzGoose Kitsap, Arts Festival, Logo

Wayzgoose Kitsap

The first known Wayzgoose, thrown in 1681, was a boozy summer feast hosted by a Letterpress Printer for his Print Shop employees. The printing community embraced this annual tradition, often sharing a harvest goose… hence the name, Wayzgoose. Today, the Wayzgoose has been reimagined as a public arts festival.

Bremerton Armed Forces Day Festival Logo

Armed Forces Festival

Armed Forces Day is a US National Holiday, celebrated annually on the third Saturday in May. The Bremerton Armed Forces Day Parade is the largest and longest running Armed Forces Day Parade in the nation.

Every year 20,000 people come to Bremerton and line the streets to celebrate our local armed forces. They want to acknowledge the service of this all too often overlooked part of our community and to say thank you…just as the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce has done since 1948!
